Contents of lectures

For all students: Description of mechatronic systems, derived solutions, history of machines, mechanisms and mechatronics in general; Objectives in mechatronics; Sensory; Processors, microcontrollers, PLCs; Actuators, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic. For students with prior knowledge in the field of technology: Measurement of force, moments, deformation, speed, acceleration; Designing mechatronic solutions; Selection of system components, connection of modules; Preparation and production of prototypes; System integration; System verification. For students with prior knowledge in medicine: Measurement of physical quantities related to movement; Mechanisms that perform the movement of the human body; Modeling of human movements, detection of real movements and 3D simulation;

Goal

Mastering the fund of knowledge required for a competent analysis of the structure of a mechatronic solution, defining the sensor part, executive mechanism, control module and work algorithm.
