University of Belgrade

ECTS: 6.0

Contents of lectures

Neurophysiological signals - action potential. Organization of the nervous and musculoskeletal system. Type and origin of electrophysiological signals - frequency and amplitude ranges. Characteristics of signals originating from action potentials of the central nervous system (EEG), peripheral nerves (ENG), muscles (EMG) and heart (ECG). Kinematic and dynamic signals during movements, pulse, blood pressure, spirometry. Medical imaging: NMR, x-ray, CT scan, ultrasound, Doppler. Characteristic changes accompanying injuries or diseases of the nervous, muscular, skeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory systems.

Contents of exercises

Learning through the implementation of practical tasks in the field of signals and systems in rehabilitation.

Prerequisite

Goal
